How can laser treatments help to stop smoking?

Nicotine is the stimulant drug which is found in tobacco. It's effects include an increase in concentration and relief from tension and fatigue. Removal of this drug from a person's system involves physical detoxification; because the endorphins which occupied cell receptor sites prior to nicotine use are missing, withdrawal symptoms will be felt. These symptoms include nausea, headache, insomnia, fatigue, drowsiness, irritability and the inability to concentrate. Some means of reducing or eliminating these symptoms must be used as a therapy to quit smoking. It has been found that low level laser treatments applied to specific points in the body can reduce the physiological symptoms of nicotine withdrawal.
